This Hollywood Walk of Fame Original owner with its new category: sports entertainment.
Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl Champion Michael Strahan will have his name.

Strahan will be honored at a celebration on January 23rd.

The 51-year-old played all 15 seasons of his NFL career new york giantswho was selected in the second round (40th overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft out of Texas South.
Strahan led the NFL in sacks twice and still holds the single-season record with 22.5 in 2001 — though that’s caused some controversy since Brett Favre might have helped him out. Still, he was named Defensive Player of the Year that year.

He was selected to the Pro Bowl seven times and was named to the All-Pro first team four times (he was selected to the second team twice).In the final game of his career, he and the Giants beat the New England Patriots 18-0 Super Bowl XLII It was one of the biggest upsets in sports history. He had 1 sack and 3 tackles in the 17-14 win.
He ranks sixth in NFL history since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.
Strahan was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.

After his playing career ended, he hosted “Live! with Regis and Kelly” during Regis Philbin’s absence. Two years later, he was officially named co-host of Kelly Ripa, a title he held for about four years. He has been on ABC’s Good Morning America since 2016 and has been a part of Fox’s NFL Sunday since 2008.
