His rep confirmed that the “Face/Off” actor’s partner gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday (07.09.22).
They told PEOPLE: “Nicholas and Rico are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter. Both mother and daughter are doing well.”
The name of Nicholas’ newborn has not been confirmed, but he has previously said he will name her Lennon Augie – in tribute to John Lennon and the actor’s father, August Coppola.
The 58-year-old actor is the father of sons Weston, 31, and Carl Elle, 16, Christina Fulton and Alice King, respectively.
Page Six confirmed in January that the actor was expecting his third child with entrepreneur Riko, 29.
Three months later, Nicholas said they were expecting a baby girl and planned to name her Lennon Augie.
He talked about the name choice: “I’ll just call her Lenny. I’m thrilled. It’s going to be the biggest adventure of my life.”
Nicolas also revealed to Extra in April that Riko was five months away from giving birth, noting that he was ready for a diaper change.
He added: “I love being a father and take my parenting responsibilities seriously.”
Nicolas and Riko met in 2019, proposed via FaceTime, and the two were married in Las Vegas in February 2021.
The Oscar winner was with Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001, Lisa Marie Presley from 2002 to 2004, Alice King from 2004 to 2016 and 2019 get married on four days of the year.
Following his and Riko’s wedding, Nicholas told Entertainment Tonight that he “really wished to have another child,” adding: “I miss it all. I miss a child discovering things for the first time.
“The way the sun shines through the leaves. Take them to a lobster dinner and drive them crazy at the dinner table…I miss going to the toy store. I miss lullabies. I miss rocking in the rocking chair.”
