NWTN delivers first range-extending electric vehicles to Abu Dhabi

New World Network (NASDAQ: NWTN) announced the delivery of 20 range-extended electric vehicles (R-EEV) to M93 CAR RENTAL LLC located in the Khalifa Economic Zone in Abu Dhabi.

The delivery marks the start of NWTN’s planned plan to provide the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market with products that will facilitate the region’s transition to sustainable energy.

“This is the first time we have incorporated a new energy vehicle into our operating fleet and we are very excited about it. It is in line with our country’s green energy transition plan and we are proud to be an active part of it,” said Chairman and CEO of M93 CAR RENTAL Officer Shahram Parvizi said.

NWTN manufactures green energy products

NWTN manufactures mobile and green energy products. It is a Dubai-based green tech company with a manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The company’s products integrate design, lifestyle personalization, IoT connectivity, autonomous driving technology and green energy systems. Its technologies involve modular pure electric platforms, battery packaging and management, and digital on-board connectivity systems.

R-EEV includes range-extending technology that extends the time between charging EV batteries. Hence, this addition helps overcome issues associated with limited charging facilities in the UAE and long-distance travel in the country. The 20 vehicles are the first vehicles to be delivered to local customers in the coming months.

“This is the start of our long-term commitment to the UAE and Middle East markets. We will continue to promote a green mobility lifestyle and bring world-leading sustainable technologies to the UAE to help support the country’s ‘Net Zero 2050’ strategic initiative and energy transition blueprint,” said Alan Wu, Chairman and CEO of NWTN.

The assembly plant is NWTN’s first assembly plant in the UAE. The facility helps NWTN increase production to meet local market demands through software and hardware localization and upgrades. NWTN is currently in the final stages of equipment installation and commissioning and is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2023.
