Olivia Rodrigo begins work on album 2 | Entertainment

[ad_1]

Olivia Rodrigo is reportedly back in the studio working on her second studio album.

Following the whirlwind success of her record-breaking debut studio album Sour, the 19-year-old pop star is said to be reunited with producer Dan Nigro Dan Nigro’s behind-the-scenes talent for all but one of the 11 tracks on the chart – the top 2021 LP.

A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Olivia’s debut was the biggest in years. She really did something special when she was in the studio with Dan. She hopes the follow-up will Develop her voice so it’s not exactly the same.

“But when they came into the studio, she felt like she and Dan were a dream team, so she wanted them to create more magic together.

“Olivia took a few weeks off after the tour, but she’s trying to make progress on her second album.

“The last 18 months have been a complete whirlwind, and while there’s no rush to put out new music, she doesn’t want to be away for too long.”

She wrapped up her “Sour Tour” in London on July 7, just a month after the “Good 4 u” hit singer took the lead on her follow-up record.

The former Disney Channel star recently insisted that she won’t be turning heads because of her success.

She said: “I definitely think seeing so many people resonate with what I have to say is a huge boost of confidence. I’m so grateful for that.

“I’m always a little hard on myself. I’m always pushing myself to be better.

“And I don’t think that no matter how successful my songs are, I’m not going to change.”

The ‘Driver’s License’ anchor admits she’s been ‘crazy’ over the last year and despite everything around her has changed, she’s still the same person and her friends will always keep her grounded.

She said: “It’s crazy but I have great friends who are honest with me and keep me grounded.

“My life has changed drastically, but at the end of the day, I’m really kind of like the same person doing the same things in my day-to-day life.”
