Omeretta shares her thoughts on cancellation culture on Twitter

[ad_1]

After DaBaby made disparaging comments to the LGBTQ community during the Rolling Loud performance at Miami Gardens, everyone was talking about cancellation culture throughout the week.Last weekend, the’Bop’ rapper said, “If you didn’t show up today HIV AIDS……Any of these fatal sexually transmitted diseases that will cause your death within 2 or 3 weeks, please put your mobile phone light in the air. He continued, “Guys, if you don’t smoke shit in the parking lot, put your phone light in the air.” “

As people continue to talk about his behavior, newcomer Omeretta of “Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta” decided to share her two cents about black people and the cancellation of the brand. “I really hate the speed and ease with which black people/brands are “cancelled” for wrongdoing, but all these racist brands/people can show how much they hate us. We pretended to boycott us for two weeks and then came back… …Ions like that,” she wrote on Twitter.

She went on to say that she was not talking about DaBaby in particular, but made it clear that his comment was wrong. Omeretta explained that she was observing how the world works, which she said was very interesting. As she shared her views, she took the time to respond to a Twitter user who claimed that she created a model of defending garbage people because they are black. The user further claimed that the men supported by Omeretta harmed the black community. Omeretta quickly fought back and denied the Twitter user’s claims by telling her to keep quiet.

Some roommates did agree with Omeretta’s view of canceling the culture. They proposed a short-term Gucci boycott in 2019 because they received strong opposition for releasing a sweater depicting a black face.
