Aside from the original cast that stole our hearts in the first two seasons, it has been confirmed that Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep will join gourdcomedy suspense series.
The news was announced in an adorable video that Gomez, 30, shared with Tik Tok earlier today. In the clip, the actress, who sits next to Short, 72, and Martin, 77, reveals that the cast is filming for Season 3, “The gang is back! Honestly, can this get any better? Oh, Wait!” Gomez continued, turning the camera to Rudd, 53, who was hiding next to Martin.
“Well, I do think it could have been better,” Rudd said, before Streep, 73, popped up from behind the couch and asked the actors if she could give them something.
“@gourd Meet our new and old staff! Sorry I was screaming in my pillow,” Gomez captioned the video.

While Rudd’s return isn’t surprising, given his character (Broadway star Ben Glen Roy) made a brief appearance at the end of season 2, Streep’s role has yet to be revealed.
Martin also shared a behind the scenes photos All five cast members tweeted, “Filming on season 3 of ‘Only Murder in Buildings’ has begun! Dream cast.”

Many fans headed to the comments excitedly, delighted that the two seasoned actors were joining their favorite roles true crime podcast for the upcoming season.
