Oppo names new Middle East and Africa president


Oppo, the world’s leading smart device brand, announced the appointment of Zhou Chi as the new president of the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

In this key role, Chi will be responsible for leading Oppo’s sales, product and market development strategies to ensure the brand’s continued success and growth in the region.

Chi brings a wealth of expertise to his role with over a decade of experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Since 2019, he has held various positions at OPPO, and previously served as the head of overseas Reno GTM.

Under his leadership, the Reno series has achieved significant market share and profitability in international markets through effective sales strategies, the company said in a statement.

Chi’s exemplary leadership and deep understanding of Oppo’s core values ​​make him the ideal candidate to drive the brand’s growth and prosperity in the Middle East and Africa, the report added.
