Oracle has announced the opening of an innovation center in Abu Dhabi to help foster digital innovation and support the growth of the emirate’s knowledge economy.
Located in the Abu Dhabi office on Al Reem Island, the new facility, called the “Al Mustaqbal Oracle Innovation Hub”, will serve as a platform for Abu Dhabi’s public sector entities, Oracle customers and partners to better understand the potential of emerging technologies.
The innovation centre will also provide training and upskilling programmes in the latest digital technologies for Emirati students, entrepreneurs and women in tech in Abu Dhabi.
The centre was opened by Dr Mohamed Abdelhameed Al Askar, Director General of Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, who said: “The Oracle Innovation Centre is the perfect place for countless people to come together to share knowledge, inspire, collaborate, innovate and empower. In Abu Dhabi Creation. The center also works to create an enabling ecosystem for youth to succeed and contribute to the development of the digital economy.”

The Al Mustaqbal Oracle Innovation Center is the company’s second innovation center in the UAE.
Over the past few years, the company’s Zayed Innovation Centre in Dubai has hosted a number of public and private sector executives from the UAE and around the world for training, mentoring sessions and joint exploration of innovative ideas. Through the Zayed Innovation Center, Oracle has also provided more than 1,000 UAE Advanced Institute of Technology graduates with upskilling in the latest digital technologies.
