Wizz Air Abu Dhabi already operates a range of routes in the United Arab Emirates from the city. Currently, the airline’s network in the country operates 11 different routes to 10 different countries. These destinations include Alexandria, Egypt, Athens, Greece and Yerevan, Armenia, among others.

Pakistan looks to revive aviation market

Four of Pakistan’s five major foreign airlines still operate fewer flights than they did in the pre-pandemic period. This includes Emirates and Saudia, but also Air Arabia and Qatar Airways.
Wizz Air may continue to expand
While the United Arab Emirates government has yet to respond to the Pakistani government, Wizz Air may seek to expand into that market.
Wizz Air recently announced hopes to expand its fleet And hopes to reach more than 200 aircraft by the end of 2023. The airline also hopes to reach a fleet of more than 500 aircraft by 2030.
