How did you start your entrepreneurship journey? Do you have some advice for beginners?
Poonam Chaudhary
                                                                  Poonam Chaudhary

I started my career journey as a journalist and later got inclined towards the real estate industry. Hence, I entered the real estate field with admin work and soon moved to CRM. It has been over a decade since I entered the sales field. Throughout my working experience in different fields, I have learned the whole process, which made me capable of handling projects solely and leaving no space for mistakes.

I would advise beginners to remain focused and have patience but aggression towards work. No one is going to fulfil your dreams but only you. The best skill ever required is experience. So get experience, don’t get stuck in one place, and don’t look for a comfort zone. It is the biggest enemy of success. And most important, give priority to your career. Humans wake up with different feelings every day. What remains with you forever is your career.

What do you believe is the most crucial part of continuing business seamlessly?

Patience.

We saw that you are active as a leader in multiple companies. What are your goals through your companies, and how do you plan to help individuals with them?

In each company I have worked for throughout my career, my goal was to achieve more than planned, fulfil the desired sales target, set a benchmark, and make the organisation trusted & reliable among customers. I always aspire to make my company well-reputed and well-renowned in the real estate market.

Describe yourself in one word.

Believer.

Do employees’ energy and enthusiasm have a hand in business success? How do you plan to motivate your team to go the extra mile?

Of course, I strongly believe wherever focus goes, energy flows. So, employees’ enthusiasm makes their energy flow towards goals. I motivate my team as I believe in my team, and I am strict about business (there, I need full activeness & quick response) and. At the same time, I am helpful and always stand up for them, whether for personal or professional issues.

How would you describe your leadership style?

Take the blame for their mistakes on myself and give credit for success to my team.

Did you face any challenges during your career span? If so, how were you able to overcome them?

There is no success without challenges. Each level of success gives more difficult challenges. There were several occasions when I thought about giving up, but that was too easy. I didn’t want to live the rest of my life regretting it. Hence, I always fought till the very end and still do. I’ve often been broken but always bounced back with a higher spirit. And now I am the headline wherever I go because I am the head.;)

Are you adapting to digital transformation? How is it helping your business?

I prefer online media over offline or traditional media because digitalisation has allowed everyone access to everything from their phones. As a result, it’s always easier to catch attention and get prompt responses online. For instance, it’s always easy to follow up through WhatsApp messages instead of calls.

Do you use innovative ideas to be unique?

I believe that if it is an idea, it should be innovative.

Where is your leadership going? What benefits do your clients get from your company in this competitive world?

As a leader, I need to ensure that the people who are working with me can learn more than anywhere else. I ensure that people have loyalty towards the company. For me, there is no forgiveness for a corrupt or unloyal employee. Also, I make sure the individual is improving on a personal level and becoming more skillful by helping them in any way I can. Lastly, I focus on ensuring clients get transparency, a hassle-free approach, and 24/7 response from my organisation which no one else thinks of.
