The Joy Screening is a comprehensive cultural and arts program hosted by the UAE, recently held in the Comoros, aimed at raising the profile of Arab culture between the UAE and the Union of Comoros. Saeed Mohamed Al Makbaali, UAE Ambassador to the Union of Comoros, said that cultural diplomacy is the key to bringing people together and the real outlet or channel for countries to seek peace.

“First of all,” he said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude and gratitude to Sheikha Alyazia Bint Nahyan Al Nahyan, ALECSO Cultural Ambassador, for organizing the Joy Screening initiative. I believe that these initiatives allow people to practice the values ​​of dialogue and cultural exchange , to spread understanding so that cultural diplomacy can work effectively among educated Arab youth and become an impenetrable bastion of mutual understanding for future generations. And peaceful coexistence.”

The aim of the event is to promote activism and promote Arabic culture in Comorian society, with the aim of supporting the capabilities of young Comorian artists and initiating a cultural and artistic dialogue with Haifa Beseisso, an influencer and content creator.

The screening of “Joy” was organized in cooperation with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), the Ministry of Culture of the Comoros and Sheikha Alyazia Bint Nahyan Al Nahyan, Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization Cultural Ambassador. The second part of the “Joyful Screening” was held in the town of Mvouni with the participation of Wahida Hassani, Director of Culture and Arts, Ministry of Culture, Comoros; Ali Bawan, Director of Benghazi Urban Development Association, Mvouni Village; and Moussa Othmani, director of Arabic language development at the association.

More than 500 villagers including teachers, students, teenagers and children participated in the activity. Mvouni is a town on the island of Greater Comore, Comoros. It is about ten kilometers from the country’s capital, Moroni. In his welcome address, Ali Bhawan said: “We were honored to host the UAE delegation who presented us with an important cultural and artistic program that we have always wanted to have, especially since it comes from our beloved country, the UAE.” “We need to further expand our ties with Arab countries and strengthen our children’s relationship with their Arabic language and identity,” Moussa Othmani said.

The gleeful screenings included a screening of the film Desert Superstars directed by Pierre Abu Chacra, a documentary detailing the Al Dhafra camels in the UAE desert Aspirations and readiness for the Al Dhafrah Camel Beauty Festival; Golden Harvest, directed by Alia Yunis and distributed by Mad Solutions, follows a 6,000-year-old love story as filmmakers try to understand Olive Oil’s deep and often troubled relationship with the people of the Mediterranean, including her own father; Rashid and Raja, directed by Mohammad Saeed Al-Harib, is a comedy film with a story based on What begins with a freak accident en route leads to a wealthy Emirati executive and a carefree Egyptian fast-food delivery boy swapping bodies, and the unlikely couple see each other differently They desperately search for a way to restore their former selves; and Athel, a fantasy short film about famed presenter and former Islamic poet Talfa ibn Abu, produced by Toaster and directed by Alyazia Bint Nahyan Al Nahyan A strange encounter between Durer.

The conversation session, moderated by Haifa Beseisso, included conversations with young people about interconnection, communication, ways to use social media to overcome obstacles, YouTube’s production principles, and making the most of available resources. Haifa Besesso said the trip was the most impactful of her long media career, and she was impressed by the direct interaction with young people.

“These activities are a way to boost their motivation and boost their confidence in themselves and their energy,” she says. Haifa Beseisso, who was born and raised in the UAE, emphasized that she is proud of the efforts of ALECSO Arab Cultural Ambassador Sheikha Alyazia Bint Nahyan Al Nahyan. She said she believed that the journey would not end with the current plan, but just the beginning of planting the seeds that would be developed and nurtured by the ambition and enthusiasm of Comorian youth.
