President Biden says emergency responders who refuse to comply with vaccine regulations should be fired

[ad_1]

On Thursday night, President Biden talked about various topics during his City Hall, but some of his most controversial remarks revolved around police, emergency responders, and vaccines. In some states, vaccine authorization has begun to affect health care workers, and it seems that Biden also supports the vaccination of emergency personnel.

Anderson Cooper posed this question to President Biden, asking him what he thought of the one-third of emergency responders who refused to comply with the city’s vaccine regulations. Cooper explicitly asked Biden whether he should suspend or “let go” emergency rescuers who have not been vaccinated. His answer was simple “yes.”

“Yes, yes,” Biden said. “By the way, I waited until July to talk about authorization because I tried all the other possible methods. The mission is working. Regarding everything that people leave, you have people from United Airlines and all these airlines, All 96%, 97% of people have been vaccinated.”

Although the discussion is hypothetical, it is very reasonable that the vaccine requirements for emergency personnel will come into effect soon. As we previously reported, medical staff in cities such as New York must be fully vaccinated before they can continue to work. If they do not comply, these healthcare “heroes” will be at risk of suspension or termination.

Biden’s remarks aroused mixed reactions from the public. Although some people on social media believe that vaccination is necessary for emergency personnel, others do not exist for it.

A user commented: “I disagree because nurses, doctors, first responders, etc. have already risked their lives before we developed the vaccine.” “Now, if they don’t want it, they will lose their jobs?”

“Okay! Yes, fire the police, firefighters, and everyone who refused to get vaccinated,” another user wrote. “When I need safety most, my life shouldn’t be in danger because you don’t want to shoot a gun. Queuing or withdrawal period!”

Up to now, cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and New York have all implemented local authorizations for government workers.
