ISLAMABAD: At the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister Sheikh Baz Sharif will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 12-13 January 2023. Sheikh Baz Sharif is expected to leave for the UAE on Thursday, an official in the prime minister’s office said.
He added that it was unclear which cabinet members would accompany him during his two-day visit to the UAE, where he will meet businessmen and investors.
This will be the Prime Minister’s third visit to the UAE after taking office as Prime Minister. The prime minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including key cabinet members.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet with the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, in particular to promote economic, trade and investment relations between the two fraternal countries, and to promote Pakistani workforce in the UAE.

Particular attention will be paid to creating opportunities.
The two leaders will also discuss various regional and global issues of mutual concern.
The Prime Minister will meet with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The Prime Minister will meet with Emirati businessmen and investors to discuss ways to increase bilateral trade and investment.
Some 1.7 million Pakistanis have lived in the UAE over the past five years and they have contributed to the development, prosperity and economic growth of these two brotherly countries. Pakistan and the UAE share close brotherly ties based on shared beliefs, traditions, shared history and heritage.
