Prince Harry, who extended an olive branch to his father King Charles and younger brother Prince William in his first interview in 2023, appears to have laid down his arms when he said “I want a family, not an institution”.

ITV has confirmed it has recorded a lengthy interview with Harry, who left the royal family in 2020 to start a new life in North America with wife Meghan Markle. It airs on ITV1 at 9pm on Sunday, two days before the publication of Harry’s blockbuster memoir Spare.
