Prince William feels ‘guilty’ about England squad after quitting World Cup

He told ITV: “Our performance deserved better.
“The goals are decisive but I just said to the players that I don’t think they can give more. I think they played really well against top teams.”
“There are good margins, things at both ends decide the game in the end, but the way the players have progressed as a unit in this tournament has been fantastic.
“We were in the right position in most critical moments. We had more shots. But it was a weak game.”
France will now face Morocco – who became the first African side to reach the semi-finals after beating Portugal on Saturday (10/12/22), while Croatia take on Argentina in the other match.
