Actor Priyanka Chopra attends India to Oscars screening, Chhello Show, in Los Angeles. She shared photos with director Pan Nalin and child star Bhavin Rabari on Instagram. The film has been shortlisted for the 2023 Oscars in the Best International Feature Film category. Producer David Dubinsky also posted a number of photos and a video on his Instagram account. In the video, Priyanka recalls memories of single-screen theaters and how her father used to bunk down to watch movies. She also asked Bhavin about a movie he had seen before making this movie, to which he replied, “Let’s wrestle.

Actor Kal Penn was also in attendance at the screening and can also be seen in the photo. The film tells the story of a 9-year-old boy named Samee (Bhavin Rabari) from the village of Chalala in Gujarat who falls in love with movies while watching them at his hometown theater. When the film was first announced as India’s official Oscar nominee, it caused quite a stir among many, as SS Rajamouli’s RRR has been a hot contender in the category.
