Prysmian showcases innovative technologies at Middle East Energia

Prysmian Group, a global leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, is presenting its state-of-the-art technology at this year’s Middle East Energy, the Middle East’s largest electrical industry exhibition in Dubai.

Key products on display at the event include innovative specialty products such as its HV/EHV underground and subsea cable systems and Pry-Cam technology.

The group will also showcase a range of products to reinforce its commitment to sustainable development, such as innovative lead-free cable designs for challenging environmental conditions and cable solutions for renewable energy applications.

“Middle East Energy is the premier platform in the region and Prysmian Group is proud to showcase our full range,” said Cinzia Farisè, CEO Meat, Prysmian Group.

“We support the region’s energy transition not only with our broad product range, but also with our strong presence in offices and factories throughout the Middle East,” Farise said.

According to him, following its launch at Genera 2023 in February, Prysmian Group’s presence at MEE 2023 will be the stage to showcase its new Prysolar cables in the Middle East.

Farise said that Prysmian Prysolar is the result of the Group’s extensive research and development efforts to meet the most unpredictable challenges from the massively growing market for solar applications and to anticipate the future.

“Thanks to an innovative industry-first testing protocol proving the long-term water resistance of the DC cables, Prysolar offers extreme weather strength and a +30-year service life, which for the customer translates into a solid return on investment, improved operating efficiencies of assets, reducing operating costs and reducing the levelized cost of energy,” he noted.

Vanessa Alvarez, Senior Vice President, Industrial Specialties, Prysmian Group said: “By 2050, solar photovoltaics will cover more than 50% of global electricity demand. Return on investment, asset efficiency, operating expenses and levelized cost of energy are the main and most important factors. A key priority for customers in the solar industry.”

“Prysmian Prysolar is a new generation cable designed to provide peace of mind to our solar customers in these areas,” he said.

He added that Prysmian will be showcasing its innovative PRY-CAM asset monitoring solution as part of the MEE 2023 Technical Symposium program tomorrow (March 8).-TradeArabia News Service
