Pure Rxcing took victory over Herberth Motorsport at the Hankook 6H Abu Dhabi Endurance, securing the Lithuanian-flagged team’s first victory in an international sports car race.

The #911 Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Alex Malykhin, Joel Sturm and Harry King was 7.2 seconds ahead of the #91 Herberth Porsche driven by Markus Neuhofer, Felix Neuhofer, Alfred Renauer and Robert Renauer.

Pure’s Porsche took the lead halfway through the race, but fell behind Herberth’s entry in the second half of the race.

Sturm then caught up to Markus Neuhoff with less than 30 minutes remaining, but he needed to overcome a 10-second penalty for overtaking.

The German called Code 60 with less than 10 minutes remaining, closing the gap to just 4 seconds. After the game resumed, Sturm quickly executed the pass and opened up a 17-second advantage at the pin.

The #21 HAAS RT Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II driven by Stephane Perrin, Mathieu Detry and Maxime Soulet took the podium ahead of the #1 Phoenix Racing Audi driven by Michael Doppelmayr, Pierre Kaffer, Elia Erhart and Swen Herberger.

ARC Bratislava’s No. 44 Lamborghini Huracan GT3, driven by Miro Konopka and Andrzej Lewandowski, finished in the top five of its class, although the Slovakian team trailed the 992 class contenders in the race.
