Puscifer the Store, an eclectic retailer of new and used vinyl records, is proud to announce the 2023 Summer Fun Series, a series of live music, performing arts and other unique events taking place throughout the summer in the Verde Valley. The Puscifer Store is hosting or partnering with other local venues to bring unusual live entertainment to the area.

“Our mission is to bring music and performing arts performances usually reserved for big cities to rural Arizona. We want to provide an alternative to standard live performances,” said co-owner and curator of Puscifer the Store Jennifer Keenan explained. “This array of events provides our guests with entertainment options not available anywhere else in the region.”

The series kicks off with A Midsummer Nightmare II on Saturday, June 24 at the Main Stage on Main Street, Cottonwood.

On Saturday, July 29, the Puscifer Store welcomed performing arts troupe “Everything Sucks!” for a live performance of “EIT!” Kidz Klub, located at 140 St. Jerome. Everything Sucks! is a video and arts collective tasked with weeding out some of the bleakest video memories in the internet’s horrific history, combined with live experience, to “make Ice Capades look like a stupid piece of crap”.

Tickets for the event are $20 and are on sale now at EventBrite.com/e/everything-is-terrible-kidz-klub.

On Wednesday, August 16th at 7pm, Puscifer the Store welcomes Mediterranean psychedelic rock band Mahama Saz from Barcelona to their venue at 140 Main St. Enjoy a magical blend of Mediterranean psychedelic and Turkish influences, as well as flamenco rock and spiritual jazz. This will be Mahama Saz’s first US tour. Matteo Amaretto will be the starter for Mahama Saz. Tickets for this show are available at EventBrite.com/e/mahama-saz-from-barcelona.

On Sunday, August 20th, Puscifer the Store is pleased to welcome Handsome Devils Puppets by Jamie Draven. This will be the third appearance of the handsome demon puppet from Austin, Texas. Handcrafted and performed with whimsical puppets that are incredible and lifelike. Check Eventbrite for details.

The Puscifer Store is no ordinary vinyl record retail store, wine tasting bar, barber shop and event space. It’s home to Four Eight Winery, which serves Arizona wines and small plates. This record and clothing store is located at 140 Jerome Avenue in beautiful Arizona. For more information about our namesake band, Puscifer, and our online retail offerings, visit Puscifer.com.
