Raytheon Technologies, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, will showcase its latest capabilities at the UAE’s premier International Defense Exhibition (Idex), 20-24 February 2023.
Under the theme “Smarter Defense Systems,” Raytheon Technologies will showcase new opportunities for operational success to create a safer world through its advanced defense technologies. The company will focus on multi-domain operations, integrated defense, land warfare, localization efforts, and long-term partnerships with the UAE defense and industrial ecosystem.
“At Idex 2023 in Abu Dhabi, Raytheon Technologies will underscore its commitment to capitalize on and support the continued growth of the UAE’s strong defense industrial ecosystem,” said Fahad Mohammed Al Mheiri, Raytheon UAE Managing Director. “We plan to demonstrate to all visitors to our booth how our mission-critical solutions stay ahead of the changing threat landscape and meet the priorities of our defense partners in the UAE and the region.”

Raytheon Mena CEO Roy Donelson will participate in a panel discussion at the International Defense Conference on the social and economic impacts and risks of widespread adoption of new technologies. As part of the Idex and Navdex discussions, Dr Fatma Bazargan, Director of Needs and Capabilities at Raytheon Emirates, will also participate in a panel discussion entitled ‘Emirati Women in Defence: In Search of New Paradigms of Thinking’. trade arab news agency
