Creating a new logo and refreshed visual identity for Remedy was an emotional journey, like anything to do with art. As a long time follower of Remedy, you know how important art direction is to us. Not only in our games, but from the standpoint of our studio identity. Not to mention our hoodies!
As a game development studio, we’ve come a long way since our beginnings in 1995. Remedies are constantly being developed.
The bullet in the letter “R” in the old logo represents the era Max Paynebut Remedy right now is much bigger than a single game; we have a whole collection of games old and new.
It was time to update and redefine our visual identity to bring more consistency, showcase our growth over the years, and better express our vision for Remedy today.
The Remedy logo means a lot to us, but we know it means a lot to you too. Just like the games we create at Remedy, we approach this process with great care, deliberation, and great passion!
We want to create memorable worlds, stories and characters that will keep you going through our games. We wanted our new logo to reflect how we’re evolving and continuing to create exciting games with the best of the best. Still, it’s a remedy that can spark brave creativity. We hope you enjoy the new look.
Our future is very exciting. Despite nearly 30 years in the gaming industry, in many ways it feels like we’re just getting started.you can expect Alan Wake II Several great Remedy experiences later this year and for years to come.
