[ad_1]

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the launch of a facility to extend the validity of visitor visas by one month (30 days) through a smart application. According to the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), renewals can be done on the smart app UAEICP.

Documents required for this purpose are the original entry permit and a color photo. In addition, the applicant’s passport should be valid for at least six months. The renewal fee is AED 750.

90-day visitor visa reinstatement
The UAE recently resumed issuing 90-day visitor visas to friends and family of Dubai residents. Relatives and friends of residents, as well as those who are looking for work, mostly rely on the 90-day visitor visa. Tourists can now renew visas for the same duration without leaving the country. Dubai has also reintroduced the three-month visitor visa, which was abolished last year.

The validity period of the visa is divided into 48 hours, 94 hours, 30 days, 60 days and 90 days. In addition, there are multiple-entry tourist visas valid for up to five years. These visas can be applied for through the GDRF website, the Smart App or through the Amer Centre.
