Job overview
KU is seeking an aggressive research assistant Dedicated to exploring the social determinants (SDH) of the health of older adults in Abu Dhabi. This study aims to identify priority topics within each SDH area to tailor SDH educational programs and research agendas.
As part of the project, researchers will have the opportunity to work with researchers and graduate students from diverse backgrounds as part of a wider team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Research experience is preferred
- Comply with the University’s information security and confidentiality policies and procedures and report breaches or other security risks accordingly
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager
Qualification
Candidate Profile

- A bachelor’s degree in health science or a related discipline from a reputed university
- Experience in undertaking assigned research tasks and contributing to academic outcomes
- Willingness to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture
- Excellent English language communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to multitask as part of a team with competing demands and deadlines
- Developed reasoning and problem-solving skills
expected standard
- A bachelor’s degree from a QS or THE top 200 university and/or work experience
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a researcher in academia or industry
- Experience publishing high-impact papers in top 10% journals in related fields
