Rihanna wants “several kids.”
The 34-year-old star showed off her baby bump during the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (February 12, 2023), and Rihanna was “very excited” to announce that she was expecting another baby with ASAP Rocky.
A source told PEOPLE: “Rihanna has so much to be grateful for. She’s ecstatic about how her show is going. She’s so happy to be performing again. She’s also super excited to confirm she’s pregnant.”
Rihanna – who gave birth to her first child in May – “would like to have a couple of kids and is happy that her son has a sibling in the summer”.
The insider added: “She loves being with [ASAP]. They are great together. “
Still, Rihanna recently admitted that she found it “impossible” to achieve a healthy work/life balance.
The chart-topping star admitted she’s still adjusting to the demands of motherhood.
She said: “It’s very different.
“Balance is almost impossible because no matter how you look at it, work will always take away time with your kids. That’s the currency right now, and that’s where it’s going. How much weight it has.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna was delighted her son got to see her perform at the Super Bowl.
She explained: “When you become a mom, something happens that makes you feel like you can take on the world. You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world.
“So, as scary as that is… there’s something exhilarating about all that challenge, and it’s important to me this year. It’s important to representation. It’s important for my son to see that.”
