Abu Dhabi: Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, witnessed the opening ceremony of the “G20 Interfaith Forum” jointly organized by the G20 Interfaith Forum Association and the Interfaith Alliance. The second and final day of events is for a safer community.
Sheikh Saif participated in a series of meetings and discussions aimed at examining international efforts to strengthen the role of religious and community leaders in formulating solutions to the problems and challenges facing the world, including food shortages, conflicts, refugees, climate change and strengthening societies Approaches to marginalized groups and challenges to sustainable development efforts.

The second day saw discussions on key themes, in which participants exchanged ideas on delivering solutions to troubling challenges.
The first roundtable discussed the challenges of the post-Covid-19 world, the importance of strengthening international human action, the role of organizations to support government efforts in times of crisis and disaster, and the need to scale up aid to all affected poor countries, with a view to Mitigate epidemics and their attendant impacts.
The second roundtable discusses the G20 summit agenda in 2023 and what needs to be contributed to setting international priorities on the summit agenda
A central focus of the UAE Forum is children.
Participants agreed that G20 leaders and faith groups should consider the well-being of children around the world as an essential theme for looking to the future in a pragmatic and visionary manner.
