Samsung announces pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 series in the UAE

Samsung Gulf Electronics has announced that the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series, including the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23, is now available for pre-order for customers across the UAE until February 16.

The series is equipped with new standard-setting innovations, such as the ultimate 200MP camera that captures epic moments with incredible precision, and powerful processors that unleash a premium gaming experience.

In addition, the new device features an attractive design, with more components manufactured using recycled materials than any other Samsung Galaxy smartphone, advancing Samsung’s commitment to sustainabilityiii.

exclusive gift

To celebrate this milestone, Samsung Gulf Electronics is offering an exclusive gift for all pre-orders on Samsung.com. UAE customers who pre-order will receive a AED500 ($136) e-voucher for any Galaxy S23 model redeemable for select accessories, wearables and tablets, in addition to 1 year Samsung Care+ service, Samsung’s free subscription for accidental breakage and breakdown, 5x Samsung Rewards Points and Samsung Membership.

Samsung is also partnering with select banks to offer 0% installment plans for up to 24 months, including trade-in offers.

Fadi Abu Shamat, Head of MX Division, Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: “Our exclusive pre-order offer makes owning this icon even more rewarding for our loyal Galaxy fans. Improved cameras, battery life, durability and the best of any smartphone Privacy protection all of which add to the incredible value of owning one of the most advanced devices on the market.”

200MP Adaptive Pixel Sensor

A first for a Samsung Galaxy, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a new 200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor that captures epic moments with incredible precision. It uses pixel binning to support multiple levels of high-resolution processing at once. The improved Night Scene feature changes the way the Galaxy S series optimizes photos and videos in various environmental conditions. The visual noise that often spoils low-light images has been corrected with a new AI-powered image signal processing (ISP) algorithm that enhances object detail and tone.

For users who want the ultimate in creative control and customization, the Galaxy S23 series offers a set of tools that make any photography experience unique. Available only on the Samsung Galaxy, the Expert RAW app supports shooting and editing DSLR-style images in RAW and JPEG formats—no bulky camera equipment required.

On the Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23, the iconic Samsung Galaxy Camera also gets an upgraded look. The contoured shell has been removed, marking a new era in the basic Galaxy design that makes the entire series stand out.

For creators and gamers alike, the desire to push the boundaries and continually reimagine what’s possible requires technology that exceeds expectations. Samsung and Qualcomm have teamed up to optimize the Samsung Galaxy experience with the launch of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the most powerful and efficient platform ever for a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, and the fastest Snapdragon available today.

Meanwhile, on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, a 5000mAh battery could power a larger camera than the Galaxy S22 Ultra without increasing the size of the device.

Designed with the Earth in mind

The Galaxy S23 series raises the bar for high-end technology that enriches lives and helps create a healthier planet. Since the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung Galaxy has increased the use of recycled materials, from 6 internal components of the Galaxy S22 Ultra to 12 internal and external components of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 series also uses a wider range of recycled materials than any other Galaxy smartphone, including pre-consumer recycled aluminum and glass, and post-consumer recycled plastic from discarded fishing nets, PET bottles and buckets.

The new S-Series is the first to feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for long-term durability and contains an average of 22% pre-consumer recycled materialvi. Additionally, each Galaxy S23 smartphone comes in a redesigned box made from 100% recycled paper.

knox protection

Every smartphone comes with Samsung’s end-to-end Samsung Knox protection, which has more government and industry certifications than any other mobile device, platform or solution on the market. In every Galaxy S series model, the connected experience gets an extra boost. Samsung Multi Controlvii connects mouse and keyboard functionality between Samsung Galaxy PCs and tablets, and now extends to Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 for ultimate flexibility between devices.

Galaxy fans across the UAE can now pre-order the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 in the following colours, memory options and prices.

The Galaxy S23 series comes in four matte shades inspired by nature: Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavenderviii. Consumers can also get exclusive colors like Sky Blue, Lime, Graphite and Red. — trade arab news agency
