Regina – Saskatchewan hosted a delegation from Canada and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this week representing the Canada-UAE Business Council (CUBC).
The delegation, which represents some of the UAE’s and Canada’s key investment and trading partners, will meet with Prime Minister Scott Moe, cabinet members and business people to discuss partnerships, sustainability, energy innovation, agricultural innovation and food security.

The mission is focused on advancing bilateral relations, expanding trade and investment opportunities, and advocating for climate action ahead of COP28, the United Nations climate change conference in Dubai later this year.
“Canada and the UAE share a strong commitment to sustainability, decarbonization, agricultural innovation and food security,” said Nour Kechacha, Chair of the Canada-UAE Business Council.
“Our members look forward to meeting Premier Scott Moe and the Saskatchewan government in Dubai this fall to explore new ways to expand trade and investment and advocate for climate action ahead of COP28.”
