Scotland have played just one game and are currently third in the Group B standings. They come into this game after beating Ireland by one point. Brandon McMullen led the bowling attack in the first innings and took five wickets in seven overs, allowing 34 runs. In the second innings Michael Lesk hit an amazing bat, scoring 91 runs for 61 balls and was also named player of the match. Christopher McBride was also good with the bat, helping Lisk after scoring 56 off 60 balls. They will be looking to continue their winning streak against the UAE.
The UAE are bottom of Group B after losing their first two games in World Cup qualifiers. They come into this game after losing to Oman by five wickets. Aayan Afzal Khan scored 58 in the first innings with a target of 228. But the bowling attack failed to hold the target. The UAE need to win their next two games to keep their chances.
