Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Healthcare Services Abu Dhabi (SEHA), the largest healthcare network in the UAE, has announced updated working hours for UAE citizens and residents at its facilities on the occasion of Remembrance Day and the UAE’s 51st National Day. Public holidays are Thursday 1 December to Sunday 4 December.
SEHA’s emergency department will continue to operate 24/7 during public holidays. For the Abu Dhabi region, this includes the emergency departments of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Corniche Hospital and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), while the emergency department at al Rahba Hospital will be open from 1-4 December at 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
As for outpatient clinics in the Abu Dhabi region, the outpatient clinic in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and its Behavioral Science Pavilion will remain closed during the holiday period. In addition, outpatient clinics at Al-Rahba Hospital and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City will also be closed.
Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City’s Injection and Dressing Clinic and Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from December 1st to 4th. The Corniche SPR Clinic will be open December 1st and 3rd from 8:30am to 4:30pm and closed December 2nd and 4th. As for SEHA Kidney Care (SKC), SKC Central and SKC Abu Dhabi will be open on December 1st and 3rd from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. SKC Central will be open on December 2nd from 8:00am to 4:00pm and SKC Abu Dhabi will be open from 8:00am to 12:00pm, both SKC locations will be closed on December 4th. The following outpatient clinics will be closed on public holidays: WHC Corniche, Corniche Pharmacy – OPD, Corniche CFC clinic, Corniche aesthetic clinic and Corniche pharmacy.
As for outpatient Healthcare Services (AHS) clinics in Abu Dhabi, the AHS clinic at Abu Dhabi Airport will be open 24 hours a day during public holidays. Al Zafaranah and Madinat Khalifa clinics will be open on 1st and 2nd December from 10:00am to 10:00pm and will be closed on Saturday 3rd December and resume normal working hours from Sunday 4th December. The AHS clinic in Al Bahia will be open on December 1st and 2nd from 10:00am to 10:00pm and on December 3rd from 2:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume on Sunday December 4th normal working hours. The following AHS clinics will be closed from December 1st to 3rd and resume normal work on the 4th; Al Maqtaa, Al Bateen, Al Dhafra Dental, Al Mushrif, Al Falah, Madinat Mohamed bin Zayed, Mafraq Dental, Al Madina, Al Samha, Al Shamkha and Al Rowdha.
For hospital outpatient clinics in Al Ain area, Tawam Hospital Emergency Department will continue to operate 24/7 during public holidays. Clinics at Al Ain Hospital and Wagan Hospital will be closed from December 1st to 4th, while SKC Al Ain’s clinic will be open on December 1st and 3rd from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, and on December 2nd from 8 am :00 to 12:00 noon. SKC Al Ain’s outpatient clinic will be closed on Sunday, December 4th.
For AHS clinics in Al Ain region, Sweihan, Al Khatem, Mezyad, Al Hayer clinics will be closed for all four days of the holiday. While Neima, Al Hili and Al Yahar will operate from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on December 1st and 2nd and from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm on December 3rd, and will be closed on December 4th. All will return to normal working hours. The following AHS clinics in Al Ain will be closed from 1st to 3rd December and resume normal business hours on Sunday 4th December; Al Muwaiji, Al Maqam, Oud Al Touba, Al Jahli, Al Towayya, Al Ain Dental, Al Shwaib, Al Niyadat, Al Faqaa, Al Khazna and Remah.
For the Al Dhafra region, all emergency departments and urgent care in all hospitals will operate 24 hours a day from 1st to 4th December. OPD at Madinat Hospital and OPD at Zayed, Marfa, Liwa and Delma Ghayathi, Sila, Bida Al Mutawaa and Madinat Zayed Dental Center will remain closed throughout the public holiday. However, Abu Al-Abyad and Sir Bani Yas clinics will operate normally during all four days of the holiday.
Al Dhafra Family Medicine Center will be open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm from 1st to 3rd December and resume normal business hours on the 4th. For SKC Madinat Zayed, it will be closed on 1st and 4th December but will be open from 8:00am to 8:00pm the following day and 7:00am to 7:00pm on 3rd December.
For SKC Al Sila and SKIC Liwa, both will be open on December 1st and 3rd from 7:00am to 7:00pm and will be closed on December 2nd and 4th. As for SKC Delma, Ghaiathy and Al Marfa, all three will be closed on December 1st, 2nd and 4th and will only be open on December 3rd from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
All chronic kidney disease clinics including CKD Central, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will be closed during the public holiday. As for the blood banks, the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank will be open on December 1st and 2nd from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm and will be closed on the 3rd. Abu Dhabi Blood Bank will resume normal working hours from December 4. Blood banks in Al Ain and Al Dhafra will be closed for the National Day holiday.
SEHA’s COVID-19 drive-thru centers in Abu Dhabi, including Al Manhal, will be open from noon to 8:00 pm from 1st to 3rd December and will operate on normal business hours from 4th December. However, SEHA’s COVID-19 drive-thru center in Labudan will be closed from 1-3 December and resume normal hours on the 4th.
SEHA’s COVID-19 drive-thru centers in Al Ain, including Asharej and Sarouj, will be open from noon to 8:00 pm for the first three days of the holiday (1st to 3rd December) and will be open as normal on 4th December operate.
SEHA’s COVID-19 drive-thru center in Al Dhafra will remain open on all four days of the national holiday from noon to 8:00 pm daily.
All COVID-19 service centers in Majalis will operate as normal throughout the national holiday.
The Etihad Heroes Medical Center will be closed on all four days of the national holiday.
The main COVID-19 assessment center at Al-Mushrif, Al Ain Convention Center will be operating normally for all four days of the holiday. Assessment centers at Madinat Zayed and Ghayathi will be open from noon to 8:00 pm on all four days from 1st to 4th December.
It is worth noting that SEHA’s call center will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from December 1st to 4th.
