Sharjah Executive Council forms organizational structure committee

SHARJAH – His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council, presided over Tuesday morning’s meeting of the Sharjah Emirate’s Executive Council, which was attended by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.

During the meeting, the Council discussed some of the topics on its agenda on government issues that contribute to the improvement of government services for the well-being of Sharjah’s citizens and residents. The Council issued a decision on the establishment and formation of the Organizational Structure Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah.

According to the decision, the committee will be established in the Emirate of Sharjah under the supervision of the Sharjah Executive Council. The Organizational Structure Committee aims to study the general and detailed organizational structures of government departments and work on the development and restructuring of these structures to ensure good performance uniformity across all government departments in the emirate. The decision provides for the establishment of an organizational structure committee, to be headed by Eng. Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Head of Human Resources Department, members are as follows: 1. Khaled Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman, Business and Tourism Development Authority, member. 2. Waleed Ibrahim Al Sayegh, Central Financial Secretary, Member. 3. Asma Rashid bin Talia, Secretary-General and Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah. 4. Counselor Issa Saif bin Handal, Director of Legal Department, Government of Sharjah, member. 5. Dr Amna Salem Hamad Al Suwaidi, Head of Conference Services, Sharjah Executive Council, Rapporteur.

The decision also stipulates that the committee shall submit its work report, work results, difficulties faced and suggested solutions to the Standing Council for a corresponding decision. The Council considered the annual report of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, including its achievements and work during 2022.
