Sikka festival highlights local dining concepts

Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Dubai Media Office (GDMO), has teamed up with Dubai Culture to showcase unique culinary concepts from local businesses from the Dubai Pride network at the Sikka Art and Design Festival.

The 11th edition of the festival will be held in the Al Fahidi Historic District from February 24th to March 5th under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Member of Dubai Council.

As part of the collaboration, 28 of Dubai’s favorite homegrown food outlets and cafes are bringing a range of best-selling, mouth-watering dishes, desserts and popular coffee blends to the festive ‘Dubai Market’. Festivalgoers can sample a range of delicious food and beverages (F&B) and experience a variety of culinary delights in a dedicated dining space for the store.

The Sikka Festival of Art and Design is a pillar event of the #DubaiArtSeason, starting February 1 and running until March 20, 2023. The festival is a unique celebration of the arts held every year in the historic district of Al Fadi, a key attraction highlighted in the #DubaiDestinations campaign.

‘Pride from Dubai Markets’ at the event puts the spotlight on food creations from 28 Dubai-born outlets: Odd Job; Grotto; Eva Three; Mirzam; Al Khayma HERitage Restaurant; 21 Grams; Ugly Noodles; Ma Malama; Maxzi Gourmet; Juice Merchant; Rogue Deli; Fifth Flavor; Must; Pinza; Go Mad; Camellia Station; Iquique; Yifang; Sweet Wheels; Billia Tacos; Haya’s Kitchen; Humble; Wise Men; Carrack & Company; and K.

Sikka Art and Design Festival is a contemporary art event dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging Emirati and Emirati and GCC artists. Held annually in the Al Fadi Historic District for its 11th edition, the festival provides a blank canvas for a new generation of artists to showcase their talents and creativity.
