Slovak Tourism Board chooses Dubai as promotional office

The Trnava Regional Tourism Board of Slovakia has chosen Dubai and the Gulf countries as the location for its first international promotion office.

The Trnawa region will be promoted from Dubai to the Gulf countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE as the preferred European destination for Middle Eastern guests traveling to enhanced health, wellness, beauty and therapy in 2023.

Agata Mikulova, Executive Director of Trnava Regional Tourism Board, said: “The Middle East outbound tourism market has been researched and identified as a tourist market with great potential for tourism in the Trnava Region. As we all know, Tourists from the Gulf countries are some of the best in the world for health and medical tourism as they tend to stay longer, travel with immediate and extended families, and also visit and explore surrounding cities for the majority of their stay and community.

“The Trnava region is the perfect choice for travelers looking for this type of destination as we have some of the leading luxury health, medical, healing and natural spa hotels and resorts in Central Europe, with numerous castles, medieval towns and adventure activities to experience , allowing even the most avid explorers and tourists to fully immerse themselves in an authentic experience.”

Mikulova added: “The Trnava region may not be well known in the Middle East, but our key industry players are ready to welcome Middle Eastern guests immediately with culturally conscious hospitality, food options and even Arabic service, our customers This will be appreciated by guests.

“To broaden the visibility of our products and attractions, and to develop travel agency and consumer engagement and demand, we have appointed Aviareps, a world-leading destination marketing and promotion company, to run our first representative office in the Middle East. With their tourism, media and digital network and expertise, we believe they will position the Trnava region to achieve our goals.”
