Photograph Dubai’s sustainable public transport on your mobile phone for a chance to win over Dh30,000 in cash prizes. The Roads and Transport Authority, in collaboration with the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Awards (HIPA), has launched the third edition of the photography contest.

From September 25 to October 15, participants can submit their photos to promote awareness of sustainable transportation. Anyone, including photographers, enthusiasts, residents, tourists, and public transport users, can join. Capture the beauty of Dubai’s public transport, including the metro, tram, buses, water bus, water taxi, ferry, and abra.

Ali Khalifa bin Thalith, Secretary-General of HIPA, emphasized the role of photography in highlighting sustainability and praised the collaboration with RTA. Yousef Al Rida, CEO of the Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector at RTA, explained that the competition aligns with the Year of Sustainability 2023 and encourages people to showcase Dubai’s sustainable transport through smartphone photography.
