In addition to being a leisurely option for the occasional indulgence, eating out can also be a lifesaver for those with busy schedules who can’t cook at home. According to one inspection held in the emirate, a total of 33,643 inspections were carried out on food products. and agricultural institutions. According to Gulf News, there were 20,001 visits to Abu Dhabi in the first quarter of 2023, of which 9,378 were in Al Ain and about 4,269 in the Al Dhafra area. The report mentioned that 46% of businesses in total visits in the first four months of this year fully complied with all food safety requirements. However, 10,987 businesses (approximately 33 percent of the total) were warned for minor violations. However, there was also a low of about 2%, which included 703 businesses found to be in breach. ADAFSA therefore had to take appropriate action. Since food safety is a top priority for the organization, they implement some best practices to make it happen. Not to mention, they work with global food safety agencies such as the World Health Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization, and OIE.

So it’s safe to say that they are committed to the highest global food safety standards.
