UAE – Many students in the UAE are enjoying their half-term break, which starts on Monday, while others look forward to it, which starts on Thursday. Other school holidays for this school year
Public school students in the UAE will have three holidays during the second and third semesters of the academic year.
Spring break will last two weeks. For International Program schools, Spring Break will begin March 27-April 7, 2023.
The number of teaching days in a year must be at least 182 teaching days.
In private schools where the foreign curriculum is applied, the holidays for the remaining months of the academic year will be three consecutive weeks, or two consecutive weeks and a third week, depending on each emirate and the specific date. It is distributed throughout the school year.
Eid al-Fitr dates are from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3, according to the official holiday calendar approved by the UAE Cabinet. According to astronomical calculations, this will be from Thursday, April 20 to Sunday, April 23. Actual date to the moon.
The Eid al-Adha holiday (Arafah Day and Eid Al Adha) will be from Tuesday 27th June to Friday 30th June.
All schools in the UAE have a summer holiday of no more than 8.2 weeks, regardless of the subjects they teach.
