Five years following the untimely passing of Bollywood legend Sridevi in a Dubai hotel, her husband and film producer, Boney Kapoor, has provided insights into her demise.
In a recent interview, Kapoor described her death as accidental and shared details about the thorough investigations conducted by Dubai Police, including a lie detector test he underwent. He emphasized that he extensively cooperated with authorities during interrogations, resulting in his clearance from any suspicion. The investigations ultimately concluded that she had tragically drowned.
In the interview, Kapoor also mentioned Sridevi’s dedication to maintaining her on-screen appearance through crash dieting, even revealing that he had advised her physician to recommend salt intake due to her low blood pressure.
Sridevi, the veteran Bollywood actress, passed away in Dubai in 2018, initially attributed to a cardiac arrest. She was 54 years old and had been in the UAE to attend a family event.
