The 11th edition of the Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) has been confirmed for March 3-5, 2023 and will be held in Abu Dhabi for the second time.
When is MEFCC 2023?
Celebrating all things pop culture, Comic Con continued its quest last year, moving from its former home at the Dubai World Trade Center exhibition halls to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). From March 3rd to March 5th, 2023, ADNEC will host Capital Sequel.
What is Comic-Con?
Comic Con is a festival dedicated to bringing out the geek in us all – offering fans the opportunity to participate in A-list meet-and-greets, entertainment icon talks, theater, workshops, manga and anime art galleries, esports exhibits and even a cosplay parade .
When will we get tickets for MEFCC 2023?
Tickets for the event are now available mefcc.com Website, the price of a one-day pass is Dhs135, and the price of a three-day pass is Dhs299.

You might recognize him from Dr Who, Daemon Targaryen, Prince Phillip, meme flesh, or one of his many Hollywood movie roles (including Lucien in the Morbin Time Universe) – but one thing’s for sure, no matter your Where We’ve Seen Him, Matt Smith will direct the screen. He’s one of Britain’s leading character actors, with a chameleon-like adaptability to genre and subject matter – and has produced almost parallel performances of the current era’s iconic screen moments. And, for fans of Emirati pop culture, he has just been announced for MEFCC 2023.
But you ask a Timelord turned Prince of Targaryen? Maybe you’re wondering if the Sonic Screwdriver works for those little screws on your sunglasses, or maybe you’re dying to know which royal scandals he prefers to describe? Targaryen or Windsor? (If it’s on your list, make it a trending bullet point). Whatever pressing questions you have – Mr. Smith, you can ask them in March.

What else is new in MEFCC 2023?
The Middle East Games are merging with MEFCC and will have their own dedicated space, the Gaming Arena. It will provide button access to retro and unreleased games, esports tournaments, gaming software and limited-edition merchandise.
Also new, Cosplay Central will provide a hub for those struggling to dress up. In addition to the annual cosplay competition, the space will feature meet and greets with professional cosplayers, cosplay repair stations, and green screen tech for out-of-this-world anime photo opportunities.
Returning attractions include Meet the Stars, where, unsurprisingly, you’ll be able to meet some pop culture stars; and The Film Club, which will host Q&As, exclusive trailers and film screenings. The Creative Academy will offer engaging workshops led by luminaries from the worlds of comics, film, television, gaming, cosplay and content creation.
You’ll once again be able to collect collectibles, signed merchandise, custom artwork and exclusive crafts from the talented souls of Artist Alley. The outdoor Festival Stage at the Festival Plaza will also offer opportunities to show off and win through dance competitions, giveaways, entertainment and a pop quiz (hot spot).

What happened at MEFCC 2022?
Last year’s extravaganza included a meet and greet with Charlie Cox – The People’s Daredevilis one of the very few characters to make the transition from the Netflix Marvel streaming series to the actual MCU — and if the rumors are true, we’ll see more of him there; Nathalie Emmanuel didn’t just stop Moving on, and almost breaking it — starring in Hollywood blockbusters and starring in what may be the biggest TV show of the 2010s (game of Thrones); and Michael Rooker, a veteran walker slayer but still probably best known for his cerulean turn as Yondu Udonta in Marvel guardians of the galaxy series.
Barry Keoghan is an Irish actor with an impressive screen credits, having acted in critically acclaimed films such as Dunkirk, the Green Knight and death of the holy deer; He’s one of the select actors who’ve danced on both sides of Marvel (Druig, immortal) and direct current (Batman); And Mingna Wen who dazzled us recently on Disney+ star wars cosmic epic, The Book of Boba Fett, Wen’s film and television career includes a string of pop culture hits.you may remember her as melinda may Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.; Mulan was the voice of two Disney original animated films.
