Street child Felix ceases activity after grandmother dies

Felix of K-pop group Stray Kids will stop promotions and group activities due to the death of his grandmother. On June 24, his agency JYP Entertainment issued a statement announcing the news.

They added that he would not take part in a video event scheduled for the next day.

“Hi everyone, I’m JYPE.

Stray Kids member Felix’s grandmother has passed away.

Therefore, Felix will not participate in the “Galaxy Video Call Event” originally scheduled for tomorrow (6/25).

Felix and the rest of the band are promoting their latest album, titled five star and their hit title song S class. This is their first comeback since the release of their first full Japanese album sound This is their first comeback in Korea since the release of “Maniac”.

Fans of the icon had previously expressed concern for his safety after he began receiving an alarming number of death threats, especially for his upcoming events in China. They demanded that the agency take action to address the threat and protect the rapper.
