Strong demand drives Acme to 30% growth in 2022



Acme Intralog, Dubai’s leading industrial and warehouse automation company, is reporting double-digit revenue growth in 2022, driven by strong regional and international demand for warehouse automation solutions.

The company grew revenue by 30% compared to fiscal 2021 and expanded its regional workforce by 24% to be able to meet the growing demand for industrial automation solutions in the region.

Navin Narayan, CEO of Acme Intralog, said: “Automation technology is key to optimizing warehouse operations in the industry, and we are proud to say that our technology and services help strengthen regional retail, e-commerce and manufacturing. Our 2022 achievement Notable achievements include the establishment of fully automated storage facilities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia for one of the world’s largest e-commerce companies and the completion of the region’s largest palletization system for a catering distribution center. We have also expanded into new markets in Central and South America .”

Acme now has more than 20 engineers and technicians serving KSA’s customers. Acme’s German office has added a new department dedicated to design and planning.

Commenting on the key trends in warehouse automation in 2023, Narayan said: “Robots play an important role in warehouses. They can be used for various tasks such as sorting, picking, packing and fulfillment. More and more, they will collaborate with humans to complete routine tasks. Collaborative robots will assist distribution centers to achieve higher productivity while minimizing cost and human use.” — trade arab news agency
