The Dubai Marathon is scheduled to take place from 6 am until 1 pm, and while full details of road closures are yet to be officially announced, it is anticipated that affected roads will include sections of Umm Suqeim Street, Jumeirah Beach Road, and Al Wasl Road. The RTA shared a video of the marathon route map on Twitter, providing insights into the 2024 edition of the first and oldest international marathon in the Middle East.

Commencing and concluding on Umm Suqeim Road near Dubai Police Academy, the marathon covers a distance of 42.195 km, offering runners the opportunity to traverse Jumeirah Beach Road and pass iconic landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab and Madinat properties. Alongside the competitive marathon, elite and amateur runners will participate in the 10 km category, and there is a 4 km fun run designed for beginners and hobbyists.
