former indian player Suresh Reina has joined Abu Dhabi T10 League team Deccan Gladiators, the league’s official Twitter handle announced on Tuesday.
“World Cup winner @ImRaina has signed on to @TeamDGladiators. As one of the best white ball players in Indian history, Raina will be playing #AbuDhabiT10 for the first time and we can’t wait,” the tweet read.
In addition to Reyna, the Gladiators have the talents of Andre Russell, Nicholas Puran, Jason Roy, Odin Smith and Tuskin Ahmed.

Back in September, Raina announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He also said he will play in the T20 leagues in South Africa, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates. Most recently, he played for Indian Legends in the Road Safety World Series.
Raina has represented India in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is during her 13-year international career. He also had the privilege of serving briefly as team captain. Raina called 5615 out of 226 ODIs and 1605 out of 78 T20Is. Reina, who scored a century in his Test debut, was also the first Indian to score hundreds in all three formats, his century was outside India .
