Boggs has sold 4 million records since hitting the Nashville stage, including scintillating hits like “Outbound Plane,” “Someday Soon,” “Letting Go,” “Drive South,” and “Hey Cinderella.” Radio hits.
During her country pop years, she also wrote a duet album with the legendary Chet Atkins. In 2003, she collaborated with Ray Benson of Asleep At The Wheel on a modern swing album. Her folk music roots are reflected in her regular appearance on public radio’s “Prairie Home Companion” and her work on “Beautiful Dreamer: Songs of Stephen Foster” and her critically acclaimed 2011 album and book Grammy-winning project, “Anthology of American Folk Songs”. In 2014, Bogguss released Lucky, a collection of songs written by Merle Haggard and interpreted from a female perspective. Her latest, “Aces Redux,” is a re-recording of her platinum-selling album “Aces,” produced by Bogguss, featuring fresh arrangements and her signature sparkling vocals.
She went on to tour the world, both solo and with fellow country radio divas Terri Clark and Pam Tiers as “Hot Chicks.” She’s also been writing her own soup recipes as she develops an interest in the culinary world.
