Madonna paid a heartfelt tribute to her dad, Silvio Ciccone, on Father’s Day with a throwback photo of the 92-year-old dad.

Along with a nostalgic photo of her dad, Madonna wrote, “Happy Father’s Day. All the dads out there! She is, he is, they are, they are!!”

“But most of all my dad – Silvio – he used to tell me he’d keep going until the wheels fell off! SAM E,” the pop diva added.

“Thank you for your unwavering work ethic and love and for refusing to spoil me in any way. You taught me how to be a survivor! ♥️ Always grateful,” she shared. “But I’m so tired… xxxxxxxx”

Earlier, Madonna thanked her father for teaching her the importance of “hard work” as she celebrated her father’s 90th birthday on social media.

“My dad is a survivor who grew up in the US as an Italian immigrant and went through a lot of trauma but always worked hard for everything he had,” she wrote in the post at the time.

“He taught me the importance of working hard and earning a living…. Thank you again.”
