MTO News learned that a few weeks ago, a 12-year-old Atlanta boy was abused by his family on Instagram Live and gave him a bad haircut, all because they suspected that the boy was gay.
Now the police finally acted. MTO News confirmed yesterday that Atlanta police arrested the families of the three boys.
This video shows the little boy being slapped on Instagram Live for his sexuality, sparking outrage online. In the video-the boy’s haircut is terrible, and the words “homosexual” are engraved on his head.
Three adults were seen slapping the boy, pushing him around, and at the same time opposing him because he was “gay”. Within 24 hours, the police told MTOP News that they found the teenager and all the persons involved. The child was placed in protective custody by the Georgia Department of Family and Child Services.
This is the video, warning to watch disturbing:
MTO News confirmed to the police that 18-year-old Jordan Jarrode Richards-Nwankwo, 19-year-old Lorkeyla Jamia Spencer and 35-year-old Brittney Monique Mills were all accused of child abuse. Richards-Nwankwo is facing additional battery charging.
Investigators said that a video released in June showed a young man with the words “ga-” shaved on both sides of his head, and also showed people yelling and beating the young man. According to the police report, someone in the video yelled at the boy, “You are still being gay-do you think I chopped your head for no reason?”
In a statement, the police said: “Investigators learned of a video posted on social media depicting a young man being abused and appeared to be abused because of his sexual orientation.”
“This is an ugly video. When you see someone, you know, I have a child. When you see a young man being abused like this, I mean it’s unnecessary. It’s ugly. And I think the situation is the same with many investigators,” the statement added.
