Memphis, TN – In an exclusive advance interview with The Tennessee Tribune, Money Motion Entertainment, LLC spokesperson Lonnie “OG Big L” Love confirmed that the company has reached a $150 million distribution deal with China Film Group Corporation (CFGC).

MME will direct the fund’s focus to co-finance minority-sourced and based entertainment, and will retain North American distribution rights and select international rights for artists and producers creating socially conscious content for music, film and television platforms. CFGC will retain all rights in China and certain markets.

Headquartered in Atlanta, MME is comprised of a select group of African-American entrepreneurs who incorporate entertainment, private and Wall Street-level investing, commercial real estate and corporate business expertise into their game plan. Now that the platforming operation is launched and received, group spokesperson Love briefly explained what they hope to achieve and why they chose to let the Tribune be the first to officially report the game-changing announcement.

“Of course we are about to hit the mainstream and internet platforms, but we are excited about the opportunity to include black media among the first. There is a reason why our mission statement emphasizes being “socially conscious”. way to make a profit, but just so we can make a statement from this level. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) conversation is all the rage in the investment world, but CFGC has come out and done more than just talk. Black entertainment around the world Both are popular, they see the potential business impact, but they also understand that discrimination hurts the bottom line, and they’re not afraid to actually fund sound business initiatives led by Black professionals, which says a lot.”

In other words, the CFGC sees the potential to profit from being green, but they are not afraid to put black policy makers in place. Love says the same as MME.

“It’s a civil rights opportunity for us, especially as the world leads. It’s really an honor that the Chinese nation is making headlines by expanding business opportunities in our home country, because when we want to do something to When making an impact we don’t have to go to the front desk, we are the front desk and there is no impunity. The really gratifying part of being able to go public now is the support our team has earned through hard work and real expertise. At the end of the day, these numbers make sense , all of us come out of bootstrapping success, which means we know how to work hard and get the deal done right.”

MME has strong links with the South Central region through one of its key partners, Kahari Nash. For several months in 2020 and 2021, he also filed a national class action lawsuit against McDonald’s Corporation on behalf of black franchisees, and then launched a unified protest called “Don’t Be McFooled,” which led to some franchisees Court settlements totaled millions of dollars. A native of Mound Bayou, Mississippi, Nash recently completed a documentary about the historic town, which has been dubbed the oldest black town in the United States due to its history of independence. Respected by knowledgeable blacks everywhere. Screening dates may be announced soon.

But as Love points out, “It still has to go through the requirements of MME to support it. Everything we touch has to meet a certain standard of decorum. There are no shortcuts. We want every artist and project to really shine while making money.” effect.”
