The children returned to TriYAS presented by Adnoc

TriYAS, launched by ADNOC 2021, announced that TriKIDS will return with the main event after the government recently approved children under the age of 12 to participate in the competition.All athletes who wish to participate can now register for the event, which will be held on Friday, October 15 Yas Marina Circuit.

TriYAS launched by ADNOC has always been a highlight of the Abu Dhabi community. People of all ages, genders and abilities are welcome to pass the challenging physical test composed of the three elements of swimming, cycling and running.

There will be two youth events in 2021. The first is a youth triathlon, including 200-meter swimming, 10 kilometers cycling and 2.5 kilometers running, open to children aged 10-16. The second TriKIDS activity will be open to children aged 8-14, including 100m swimming, 5km cycling and 1.5km running.

Those entrants under the age of 12 who registered on the original date will automatically get their place on the new date.

This year’s event also has 8 separate categories for people over 16 years old to participate, including the new Duathlon Sprint, which includes 5 km running and 21 km cycling, and then ends with a 2.5 km run.

Participants who wish to participate in individual competitions can choose from the sprint, Olympic or super sprint categories. For those who prefer to participate in the competition as a team, they can choose from the sprint team relay or Olympic team relay options.

TriYAS has always been more than just a triathlon. Members of the local community and other regions gather to enjoy a fun-filled day in the sun, surrounded by like-minded people who are willing to push their bodies to their limits and achieve personal goals.

The activity starts from the first activity at 6:20 in the morning. Due to the high temperature, there will be a break between the morning and afternoon meetings. Participants can pick up the competition package at TrainYAS from 6 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 12th.

Registration will end on Tuesday, October 12.

The event will be open to spectators who can provide green passes

Please note that participants must receive two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine approved by the UAE and provide negative PCR test results within 48 hours of entering the venue.

As always, some health and safety precautions will be implemented on the Yas Marina Circuit and its surrounding areas to ensure the health of the participants.
