Fans of film, television, and graphic novels in the region can now book seats at next year’s Middle East Film and Animation Fair (MEFCC) as 10day A version of the convention is now on sale.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), promising to show movies and comics on weekends and attract celebrities and fans to dress up as their favorite characters.
As the UAE public sector and schools recently announced the transition to a four-and-a-half-day work week next year, the MEFCC’s dates have been adjusted to Friday, Saturday and Sunday from March 4th to 6th, 2022.
MEFCC Marketing Director Hanisha Kumar said: “After months of excitement from fans in the region, we are very happy that MEFCC 2022 tickets are now on sale. MEFCC’s followers will be bigger and better than ever, and will not be Abu Dhabi’s lineup is disappointed. Please stay tuned for more exciting news and surprises to come.”
Ticket holders of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) event can look forward to an extraordinary experience. The celebrity guest star Nathalie Emmanuel from the HBO legendary fantasy series “Game of Thrones” has been confirmed to appear. The full lineup will be announced in the next few months.
Emmanuel will join the ranks of celebrities who have previously appeared at the high-profile MEFCC conference. These include Jason Momoa, Zachary Levi, Benedict Wong, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Ezra Miller, Iwan Rheon, Tara Strong, Seth Green, Gillian Anderson and William Shatner.
MEFCC will be organized in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standards, which will run in parallel with DCT Abu Dhabi’s own strict health and safety protocols.
