The future of entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia will be unveiled at SEA Expo

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: As part of Vision 2030, its social and economic blueprint, Saudi Arabia is stepping up efforts to develop its entertainment, cultural and leisure market into a multi-billion dollar industry while transforming the country into a global tourist destination .

Saudi Arabia’s public sector has undergone major transformations over the past few years; building new sustainable cities along its coast and deserts and attracting massive foreign investment, but none more so than its sweeping overhaul of the entertainment and leisure sector Influence. To spotlight these investment plans, trends and initiatives, Saudi Entertainment and Entertainment (SEA) Expo, the Middle East’s largest gathering of experts in the entertainment and leisure industry, will be held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 28th to 30th. Held concurrently with the Saudi Light and Sound (SLS) Expo, SEA Expo will cover all aspects of the country’s entertainment industry, with a focus on the future.

In addition to buying a 100% stake in US-based AMC Entertainment Holdings in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Entertainment Ventures, a subsidiary of PIF, has partnered with a number of global brands including Warner Bros Discovery, Clip ‘n Climb and Mattel to develop new entertainment destination. Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector has so far been boosted, with GEA providing 4,198 entertainment licenses and 3,370 live performance licenses until 2022.

With two summits and a list of over 300 exhibitors, SEA Expo will bring together industry experts from the Middle East and beyond to discuss current entertainment, leisure and culture markets, engage with experts from the private sector and government, and gain insight into the future through knowledge Learn about the entertainment industry in the country through exchanges and presentations by some of the most important experts in the region.
