How much does the PCR test cost?
On the evening of Monday, August 30, 2021, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) shared a tweet announcing that the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention has set the price ceiling for PCR testing in the country to Dh50.
As of Tuesday, August 31, 2021, the maximum charge for all “state-level medical facilities” is Dh50.

The NCEMA communication also requires health centers and laboratories to provide results within 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that the PCR laboratory testing price of all state-level medical institutions will be reduced and unified to 50 dirhams. All health centers and laboratories are obliged to display the test results within the specified time. Take the exam 24 hours a day.
