The Laughter Factory returns to Abu Dhabi this week

[ad_1]

The best LOLlapalooza in the UAE returns to the capital…

A Canadian-Filipino, an Englishman, and a Greek walk into a bar. This is an Abu Dhabi bar. I should have said that before sorry. Let me start over. A Canadian-Filipino, a Brit and a Greek walk into a bar in Abu Dhabi. It’s in Park Rotana. Look, we’re absolutely slaughtering this one, but we promise the punchline is a Class A medical emergency, side split, stop – I can’t breathe zinger.

We’re afraid you’ll have to wait until the ominous hour of *spooky noise* on Friday, January 13th (January) to hear it, though. This is the time and place that marks the long-awaited return of The Laughter Factory to Abu Dhabi.

Tickets must be purchased in advance via www.thelaughterfactory.com website, the price is Dhs160.

knock on the door

This version of the Road Trip has three LMFAOsmiths ready to spit giggling bars, shame hecklers into confessional silence, and send crowds into chaotic pins.

This week your lineup includes Canadian-Filipino Ron Josol – international touring veteran, comedy festival pun, Just for Laughs winner (1998) and multiple successful Showtime special. His style blends punchy one-liners with masterful storytelling, and he was in Abu Dhabi for just one night.

Joining him is George Zack, a Greek native with a thirst for knowledge – he studied biochemistry at Newcastle College (university, actually, the word “college” was used just to imitate the song), and this is the man, Learned ‘wey’ yes’. George has been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival five times, performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, performed in Europe and Asia and even appeared on BBC’s The One Show. As live, it’s home to so much memorable, unrepeatable, unsuspecting comedy gold.

The last scene, but by no means least, features Harry Staccini – a consummate theatrical yarn spinner, actor and filmmaker. Highlights of his stand-up career so far include hosting Bound and Gagged’s ‘AAA’ comedy show at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival and wowing audiences with his first solo tour, ‘Tigers Don’t Cry’.

Park Rotana, Khalifa Park area, Friday, January 13, starting at 8.30pm, Dhs160.Tickets must be purchased in advance via www.thelaughterfactory.com website. Tel: (050) 878 6728
